Bermuda Riviera is a tiny and friendly upscale community of mostly waterfront homes within walking distance to the beach. This sweet neighborhood is located just across the street from Galt Ocean Mile and one of our beautiful Fort Lauderdale beaches. This intimate and sleepy enclave is made up of 6 small, tree lined "finger island" streets. With only approximately 250 residences, this is one of the more sought after neighborhoods in NE Fort Lauderdale for its small town feel, deep water dockage and unrestricted ocean access (NO Bridges) to the Intracoastal Waterway and Port Everglades to the south, or Hillsboro Inlet to the north. At the north end of the neighborhood, there are 2 island-type streets with only 1 entrance and exit by their own tiny bridge, NE 41 Street, and Fort Royale Isle. 

The location of the Bermuda Riviera subdivision is east of the Intracoastal Waterway, and west of A1A, between Commercial Boulevard and Oakland Park Boulevard. There is only one entryway to the Intracoastal front neighborhood and that is by the guardhouse on NE 40 Street and A1A. 

Most of the homes in this quiet community were built in the 1960's and 1970's with many new homes currently under construction and recently completed. Homeowner’s in this ocean access waterfront east side neighborhood enjoy generous lot sizes between 8,000 and 10,000 sq. ft. with several of the properties offering combined lots for a more expansive footprint. Home styles range from the original ranch style "Old Florida" type home, to contemporary, two story Mediterranean style homes and everything in between. 

Bermuda Riviera is part of the award winning Bayview School District and in close proximity to many private schools as well. The neighborhood is conveniently located only minutes by foot, bicycle or car to Lauderdale by the Sea, Las Olas and Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Grocery stores, award winning restaurants, Famous Anglins Fishing Pier, doctor offices and a couple of lovely little retail shopping areas are all within walking distance to this charming beachside neighborhood.
